people who don't wash their feet regularly should be banned from wearing thongs. i took the usual 9.40am bus to sch for morning service today and my senses was assaulted by a mixture of rotten sourness and sweet scent of perfume that apparently came from this lady seated right in front of me. this horrible smell tormented me and i almost died in the bus. thank God the journey lasted only 8 mins.
God makes the impossible, possible. I tot I had failed my controls quiz, only knew how to do 1 question out of 2. No matter how much i studied, it was just beyond me to do that question in an exam environment.. I was thinking o well i tried my best and maybe ill get some marks off the 2nd question and get like 23 / 40. And to my amazement when i checked my score, i was right. I hit 23 alright but out of 30 ! apparent there was some typographical error in question part c and d. Rather than compensate for marks , he took off those 2 parts out to make it out of 30. Amazing isn't it. Praise God!
elo bored readers who unwittingly click and land yourself here.. like you, im bored as well... in fact im so bored that im motivated to type some random tots on this forgotten site..let's see how random this gets:
i wonder if any one blog these days... facebook has taken over most of my time .... anyway... for the uninformed ones, im reading engineering at UQ already and m into my 5th week. really miss the food back at home especially all those sushi and sashimi every weekend.. not to mention simple fares like chicken rice and cha kway teow that cost twice as much here.. where is my see hum! the closest i can get for authenticity and flavour is probably the food at sunnybank.. from hainan chicken rice to roast duck rice they have it all... but still no see hum... been working on a poster for the Singapore club at UQ's up and coming soccer tournament.. have a look... poster's going out next week...
it's been 1 year 3 months or so and finally I'm able to type an entry in the afternoon without taking leave or worrying about work! nothing beats waking up at 10 am knowing you have all the time in the world to do all you want. but .. i feel kinda weird not doing the routine, the ritual of logging to my office mail and clearing one by one. ill miss the wonderful colleagues i had that made the monotonous work life enjoyable. was a great experience working in an MNC and interacting with all levels of management. as i end this phase in my life, i embark on another. back to school for me.
funniest ever conversation i've ever had.
the excitement of studying in aussie died down these few days when the reality of me leaving SG for a year sets in. i'm gonna miss all the people here.
